Brisbane Sings will return to the QPAC Concert Hall on Saturday
​30 August 2025. Hosted by the Queensland Show Choir and with a cast of over 500 voices and a stage band, this event is sure to be another highlight of the 2025 Brisbane music calendar. The concert will be a reflection of the diversity in choral singing throughout Brisbane. This will be a musically rewarding and memorable event for all involved.

Participant Involvement

Choirs will rehearse separately then combine for two rehearsals prior to the performance and a walk through rehearsal at the venue. They will be required to rehearse repertoire for a number of combined pieces during their own rehearsal periods. Most choirs will be invited to perform one piece on their own, to be selected by Brisbane Sings' Musical Director from suggestions by the group's Musical Director.

The combined numbers will be as follows:
  • Opening number - performed by all choirs
  • Brisbane Sings medley (~10 minutes) - performed by adult & senior school choirs, with choreography
  • Closing number - performed by all choirs, with choreography
  • Combined junior school choirs will perform together (depending on participant numbers)
  • Combined senior school choirs will perform together (depending on participant numbers)
  • Combined adult community choirs will perform together (depending on participant numbers)

​Participating choirs will need to pay a participation fee of $30 per chorister. This includes the Brisbane Sings T-shirt (to be worn during the concert).

Proposed Schedule (2025)

Combined choir rehearsals:
  • Sunday rehearsal 9.00am-1.00pm (details TBC)
  • Sunday rehearsal 9.00am-1.00pm (details TBC)
Walk through & rehearsal:
  • Monday 25 August 6.00pm-9.00pm at QPAC 
    ​(date to be confirmed closer to the time)
Dress rehearsal & performance:
  • Saturday 30 August at QPAC - call time 12.00pm, concert at 6.30pm 

Brisbane Sings 2025

Brisbane Sings 2025 will be our 11th concert. Over the years, we have had an amazing list of participating choirs. It is also worth having a look at our previous programs.

We are seeking expressions of interest from choirs who would like to involved in 2025. Please fill in your EOI here: Brisbane Sings 2025 EOI. 

If you would like to be part of this amazing event, please complete the EOI as soon as you can. If you are involved with more than one choir, we would be happy to receive multiple applications. Applications will be considered by the artistic team to ensure balance of voices across the mass choir.
